We have fresh small tender squash and pickling cucumbers. Come see us!

Our cucumbers are ready! Pickling cucumbers with small seeds.. $25 for a 20 lb box or $1.50 a pound. Can be picked up at our house, in Cordele, or Ashburn. Today was our first picking. Also, if you have ordered squash from us we appreciate your patience. They are making quite as many right now because of the rainy/cloudy earlier in the week. Now that the sun is back out they should start producing more and we will get our orders filled. Thank you all for your support!

We have some young, tender squash for sale. I think it may be the prettiest we've have ever had. Hand picked, graded, washed and boxed. Ready to eat or put up in your freezer. Can be picked up at our house, in Rochelle, Cordele, or Ashburn. $25 for a 20 lb box or $1.50 a pound.

We have fresh rutabagas with their leaves (greens) ready now. $5 a bundle. Fresh, not picked a few weeks ago and shipped to your store. Fresh is always better! Support your local farmers and small businesses. We depend on you!

We believe in supporting the future of agriculture, which means supporting the younger generations. The William C. "Bill" Baisley "Sumpin' Big" Scholarship is offered to a student in need of financial assistance studying for an agricultural career at a college in Georgia.

Bill Baisley was a trusted leader, a personal friend, and an encouraging mentor for the food and agricultural sector for many years. Bill used the phrase “sumpin big” as a way to move ideas forward. We honor him with this scholarship and look forward to helping a student who is moving our industry forward.

We will present the recipients of this scholarship at the Annual Harvest Celebration. If you know any high school seniors or college students focusing their studies on agriculture, please share this scholarship with them. I took very few pictures, but we enjoyed our family getaway to the North Georgia Mountains for a few days. Thanks to all our customers who bought produce from us to make our trip possible. Family time is a good time! Now to plant our fall crops. Please join us in praying for rain. Happy Labor Day everyone!
