I live in a very small town in Iowa. Pilot Mound Iowa population 162. The city council asked me if I could find property pins for a certain property because of old dead trees. I humbly accepted the challenge . I found all 6 property pins in an hour and fifteen minutes. Research included. Thanks to TheHunterGT for the F75 and the Nokta Impact. Both machines made me look like an expert in how fast I was able to locate and mark them.

I got up this morning at 5 am like usual and while drinking my coffee, that hole I started a fire in was driving me crazy. Grabbed my shovel and flashlight and was able to dig an 8" deep hole easily. Lol, the fire worked. At the bottom was a perfect model T valve stem cap with most of its shiny still intact! Bonus was the Schrader valve is still attached. Credit the Impact for this find. I'm impressed!

The weather was good last weekend so I took the new Impact out for a run. Thanks to TheHunterGT. I did find one signal that was loud and in the upper 80's but was a bit sketchy with all of the iron around (typical for my yard). I dug 3" and hit frozen dirt. Brought out my ride or die machine the F75. It did pick it up but was not a strong signal like the impact. Normally I would pass on it since it's 8" deep. The F44 was next and it did sniff out something in the silver range, but again was sketchy due to the iron bits. Once more after I had the hole opened up with all 3 machines, and the Impact was loud and proud. The other 2 saw it but were not convinced. Today it was 40 again and my impatience won. I started a fire and charcoal to thaw it out .... lol I couldn't wait any longer. We shall see what's there when the fire melts its way down.

I have a new weapon in the arsenal thanks to my brother from another mother, TheHunterGT! This is the Nokta Makro Impact Pro Pack! I just got it today and can't wait to hit all of my old spots with a new multi frequency machine! Good thing I have a couple of months to figure it out before it goes to work digging and saving treasure.

Another non dug treasure in our yard is our pollinator garden. The Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and Bees love it. Today was Bumblebee day. 20 + bees at any one time gathering all the pollen they can. When thier full and fly away 6 more swoop in. Absolutely awesome! Enjoy the short 30 sec video.

I went over to a garage sale here in town and saved a couple of pieces of history. Both machines cycle as they should and the pretty one has patent dates. The newest is Jan. 13, 1891.

Not a dug treasure but a treasure indeed!
Every year there is at least 1 family of Robins that nest here on or at our house. This year a first year mama decided to nest on the light right outside the back door. I've been around birds enough to know if you get close to baby bids mama gets very upset. So I needed to move her. She was very persistent on building on the light, but I kept changing her mind. She gave up and built a new nest on top of a fence post right outside the kitchen window. After the latest rains and such, I decided to help her out an built her a bit of a shelter. Hope she understands and don't leave ....

About an hour in a bean field this afternoon and I found my first good luck token! Home Comfort Ranges 75th anniversary 1864-1939. The good looking token is from. Google. Mines the one that looks like it's been lost for a long time.
