This one’s been a long time coming 💍✨

These rings have been a true passion project of mine over the past six months. As someone who’s always been a ring person, I wanted to create pieces that feel truly different, not mass-produced, not ordinary, but full of intention.

The love these rings have already received honestly means the world to me. Each one is handmade, completely one-of-a-kind, and carries its own little story, no two are ever the same.

With Christmas just a few days away and the new year quickly approaching, I wanted to pause and share a moment of gratitude.

Thank you to every new customer who discovered my work this year, and to every returning customer who continues to support, encourage, and show love for what I create. The conversations, kind words, and genuine connections I get to experience through this business mean more than I can ever explain.

Owning this business has brought me growth, learning, and so many moments that remind me why I started in the first place. I’m deeply grateful for this community and for everyone who’s been part of the journey this year.

Feeling thankful, grounded, and excited for what’s next. ✨.

I'm looking at this blank space trying to figure out what to say... & I am at a blank... maybe in disbelief that this is real... that it wasn't a dream... and you aren't coming back... a year ago today I lost my brother to su***de & drug abuse. Even saying that out loud still doesn't feel real... there is not a day that goes by I don't think of him, there I have been moments where I have to remind myself that it happen, I would never wish this pain on anyone...I still can't shake the feeling that failed you as brother, we failed you as family. How could we let this happen to you?! Weren't we enough to keep you here? Or did we fail you.... ask myself that everyday.... I will never see you get married, have your first child, grow older with you... that's all gone now... now there is just empty void... Dan, I miss you everyday, wherever you are, I hope you are free now... I hope you are finding your light... whatever that means... from your baby brother, I hope you know I love you so much, my heart aches for you everyday, for our parents, our family, who is grieving this intense loss.

I have learned a lot about grief this year more than I have ever wanted to be honest. Nothing prepares for something like this, nothing. There is no manual, no guide through this. It is probably one of the toughest things I have ever experienced. I wanna talk to the men real quick, Guys if you are listening & are hurting please seek help. Don't let what happen to my brother, happen to you. Men it's not weak to feel, it's not weak to be vulnerable. You don't have to be alone in that darkness. Never judge anyone, you never know what someone is truly battling on the inside. This world can be so dark & so cruel sometimes. But it doesn't have to be, asking for help it's not a weakness. To anyone out there struggling I see you. I hear you. You are not alone. I promise you, you are not alone. That darkness is just a moment not your lifetime.

It’s been a minute.

Truth is — grief is hard. Losing my brother has left a hole I can’t even put into words. Some days, I don’t want to get out of bed. Other days, I keep my head down — making product, vending at markets, going to the gym — just trying to keep moving.

But I’m still here. And slowly, I’m finding my way back.

I finally got the site back up and gave it the refresh it needed. New pieces are now live — rings (finally!) and keyrings — and I’m working on even more behind the scenes. To celebrate, there’s 25% off each piece — a little welcome-back gift from me to you 💛

With summer market season winding down, I’m planning to spend more time here — showing up, sharing more of the process, and reconnecting with the community that’s been with me through it all.

HMD started with just earrings… and now, it’s slowly growing — just like me. Some days are still really hard. I’m figuring things out one step at a time. But being able to create, to keep going, to share even a little part of this with you — it means more than I can say.

I have no words. I love you forever my brother. I will forever miss you, I’m still in denial. I still feel you here, I feel as if you are gonna call me in second. I’m so confused, and angry. Just why ? I wish I could hear you just one more time, I wish I knew how lost you were. A piece of me left with you, you will always be with me. I love you so much big brother. I am so proud of you, you will always be my inspiration. I want to just laugh with ya for just one more time. I hope you feel free now, and I hope you find your light.
