One of the most common things we hear in the showroom

“I want a bezel.”

Sometimes that’s exactly what someone means. Other times, they’re actually describing a signet ring.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the lingo and what it means:

Bottom Ring: Flush set. The stone sits directly into the metal.

Middle Ring: Classic bezel. The metal wraps around the stone to hold it in place.

Top Ring: Signet ring with a flush-set stone. The style of the ring is a signet, while the stone itself is flush set, not bezel set.
