Since I did not get the chance to meet her, I decided to use her name to remember her. The name “Isabelle” is from my great Aunt that I got to meet and grow up with. My Aunt Isabelle was a sweet and an old fashion lady that attend
s church on a regular basis. Since I was searching for a business name, I decided to ask my mother for permission about naming my business after my grandmother and aunt and this is how Ether & Isabelle was created. We got our first start of selling jewelry at flea markets in the Central Texas area. During that time, we would travel over the weekends to various markets to find out how well we could sell our merchandise before owning a storefront business. Once we started getting positive feedback from our customers, we wanted to offer more products other than just fashion jewelry. I knew that I could sell silver and gold jewelry, so I started reaching out to vendors within the United States, and traveled to overseas to Thailand, Mexico and Dominican Republic. My original plan was to travel the world to visit the factories where most fine jewelry and gemstones come from. Since Covid19 pandemic we had to stop traveling and stop selling for a while. Now that there are several vaccines to treat or control the spread of the virus, we decided to open our family business in Pflugerville, Texas.
