Our current culture often leaves new parents with little support in a state of isolation and overwhelm.
Resilient is a program devoted to nurturing mother and child during this vulnerable and sacred time.

How we raise our children is a political.

What values we cultivate in our home is political.

~ Sunshine or water ~
☀️
I learned early on that the ray's of the sun or the warmth of water can calm the many swells of big emotions in parenthood.
Feeling the day spiralling out of control?
Sit with your child outdoors and slowly observe the day around you or.... Get in the bath! Midday bubble baths have reconnected and calmed our sorrows many times ❤️
We are lucky to have a magical space like (pictured here) to reconnect with each other and Mother Earth 🙏🏽

~ Our 8 week Mama and Baby series begins this month ~
🌹
We will gather weekly to share story, wisdom and learn from one another.
We will have local wisewomxn from the community join us with offerings of support.
We will create an intergenerational circle of wisdom as we share the space with a local grandmother and educator each time we gather.
We aim to create a brave space that helps to lessen the burden of shame carried around by postpartum Mama's.
Check out our program details on the web page. Please reach out with any questions.
We see you. You do not have to do this alone, in isolation.

~ about last week ~
🙏🏽
Grateful to the community members that were able to show up last week to our first Resilient gathering at 🌹 We know how hard it is right now during the current climate to head out into public spaces.
We shared in story, fears and offerings for our postpartum families. We talked in detail about Resilients community offering and the importance of gathering in person and receiving support during the first year postpartum.
We were grateful for the one Papa who showed up and happened to be the one behind the camera 😘
Thanks for the capture

Cultivating Resilience Through In-Person Gatherings
Dear postpartum parent,
We see you.
Our current culture tends to forget about the postpartum families soon after the baby arrives. We see this, we feel this. The lack of interconnectedness during this sacred time leaves our new families feeling unsupported and unseen. We aim to fill that space.
We believe that creating connection and visibility through in-person gatherings, is the way to build confidence while unveiling innate wisdom brought about through collective listening and sharing.
Throughout our series we will have local wise womxn join us and share their gifts with offers of support for your postpartum season.
