Will you be giving out awards? We will be awarding the top overall male and female - drinking and non-drinking, best dressed team, best dressed individual, best team spirit, five $100 attendance prizes AND a BIG ASS TRAVELING TROPHIE plus $500 for the BIGGEST TEAM!!! What do I get for my entry fee? Well, besides a GREAT TIME you'll receive a SWEET POLAR BEER 5K Shirt, a SUPER PARTY, Party Beads, some "FEEL GOOD" cause we're helping a great cause and FREE BEER! Yes, we said FREE BEER! So what can I expect? FUN! How about great music with hundreds of like-minded friends and a good run (or walk) with a special "Fun Twist" on the course! Complete the course and be rewarded with a FREE BEER! Do I have to drink beer? Well, we're not going to twist your arm (too hard), but let's just say that your time will appreciate you indulging a bit... and don't stress if beer is not your thing... we will have a non-alcohol option (root beer) for you! We want everyone to come and have fun! Do I have to run? Or can I walk? Of course you don't have to run, but for the record you will finish with a faster time if you run:)
Is this a timed event? We will record best overall male and female and have a time clock so you can check your time when you finish, But let's be clear... THIS IS A FUN RUN! To us time is not the most important part of this event, but if you’re a competitive runner... we want to make sure you know your time. Can I sign up as a team? There's even a special trophy and $500 prize for The BIGGEST TEAM (we call it the BIGGEST TEAM CHANLLENGE) soooooo, holla from the rooftops and get everyone you know to run (or walk) on your team! What if I want to drink beer and not run? Listen, we want you to come and drink beer and cheer, so show up early so we can put you to work or pressure you into running with everyone else.
