Fran Poppell is my aunt and I am helping promote her personal creations. Call me if you'd like to host a jewelry show. or to schedule a time to view the creations. She is a member of "The Decorative Artists of Southwest Florida". They make and give "THE MEMORY BOXES' that are made of Sealed Paper Mache' with a Angel..Teddy Bear etc. The Artists name or initials are on the inside of the lid. They d

onate these to Shands Pediatric Unit and also to Lee Memorial Health Facilities for the babies that do not make it. She said they almost can't keep up with the supply of demand. This group of Artists also decorate "Suitcases for Family Services for children that are removed from homes". She said that a portion of the money she makes on her jewelry will be given to these projects.

“I drive a school bus and have a 6 grader who I would like to talk about.
Last week he was talking about an elderly neighbor not leaving her house for weeks. I tried to explain how hard it could be for her to do things. On Tuesday I pulled up and he wasn't at the stop waiting. I looked over and saw him shoveling her porch. I was early so I waited for him. The other kids asked why I waited. I said anyone helping someone deserves a few extra minutes. All the kids started asking him questions about his neighbor. The next day 7 children got on the bus with blankets, food and cards for the elderly woman. I delivered them after worked. Now everyday she stands on the porch and the whole bus waves good morning. I am so proud of him for stepping up and doing the right thing. He taught all the children something important. I smile with pride in my heart because of the extraordinary children I have on my bus.” ❤

A man finds a goose that was shaking with cold stuck to a pole in Montana. As he got closer he realized, wrapped up in her wings, was a tiny puppy she was shielding from the freezing temperatures. We have so much to learn from the animals. Beautiful. (Both the goose and the puppy have recovered, were adopted together, and are doing well.)
