Agates, Jaspers and the not so typical gemstones are what inspire me. My jewelry is fabricated from gold & silver sheet, wire of various shapes, and most stones are bezel set. Any one of my pieces could have 10-20 solder joints making my work labor intensive with a high attention to detail and finishing. I've been making and designing jewelry for 30 plus years starting out as a goldsmith and designer for a nationally known designer in Minneapolis. For many years, BNOX Jewelry Studio has sold my jewelry and we continue our to work together!  I invite you to visit BNOX Jewelry Studio, site 2, on the Fresh Art Tour.

My art style ranges from brightly colored, highly contrasted, lighthearted imagery like a princess perched on a ladder leaning against a towering slice of cake to more subdued, textured, reflective landscapes such as color gradients with deliberate, circular scratches that unite the composition. I love the discoveries that come from shifting between these two approaches; new ideas and creative challenges always emerge. I follow these insights until the artwork resonates with the energetic sense of wonder I hope to evoke in the viewer.
