Congratulations to Clare and Cam on their engagement!
This one is close to my heart. Clare is the daughter of our own Moira, who has been part of the Orion family for 15 years — so when Cam snuck out of Manhattan to come design Clare’s ring with us, it was personal from the very first sketch.
Cam wanted this to be a complete surprise for Clare and it was!! We sat down with Cam and walked him through the whole process — how to read a GIA report, how to look at a diamond under the microscope, and how to use our Diamond Selector Tool to compare sizes and shapes side by side until he found the perfect stone! Clare’s twin sister Leah joined us on FaceTime so she could help guide the design and make sure every detail was something Clare would love.
This is what I love most about what I do — sitting down with people, taking the time, and helping them build something that means everything to them. No rushing. No pressure. Just good work and good company.
And the proposal? Cam pulled it off at one of their favorite spots in Manhattan, surrounded by family and friends.
