Good morning folks! It's been quite time since I posted, chalk it up to life here getting totally insane for quite some time now. But that's about to change, and you can expect to see a piece of art, in some form, here on a regular basis. I've discovered through my long dry spell that I really need the creative process to keep me grounded and calm.
So, here is the painting I did yesterday. Hope you like it!

New work done in the wee hours of this morning while everyone else slept. I think this may be the perfect time for me to work. Just need to figure out when to squeeze a few extra hours of sleep in during the day!
Anyhow, here is my very first abstract that wasn't created digitally.

Because I was in a bad mood today I decided to paint an abstract to reflect it. Started out with red, blacks, purple.. Angry colors and went at it. Halfway through it started morphing into this 😮 so I decided to go with it and painted over everything I had done. I think I got a compliment from my son Tony who asked "what did you do, take a tutorial?"
