She really knew how to put the whole look together! Beautiful with edge! So much fun watching people play with the style and make it their own.

I love how she styled the shibori tie dye, obi belt and lenticular origami earrings.

the way she tied the belt is 100% her. She tied it to one side and fanned it out on the other😍

This design was included in the care packages. I want to show a video to show the dimensional detail on this fabric…there’s a little bit of thread cut very short in the zigs and zags to give a fuzzy effect. so funky…i love it

It’s fun, it’s chaotic, and it’s not trying to make you think too hard—because, honestly, we’re all exhausted. Zig & Zag is like, hey, life doesn’t have to make sense all the time. Sometimes, you zig. Sometimes, you zag. And sometimes, you do both and end up crying in your car. But, you know, in a fun way.

Each donated design had its own message:

AH VINTAGE COUCH VIBES. This brocade fabric is warm, inviting, and the colors remind you of sitting in front of an LA sunset, which is gorgeous until you realize it’s 5 p.m., and you’ve been parked on the 405 for 2 hours. Nostalgia at Dusk is about looking back fondly on the past, which I love, because hindsight makes everything seem better...like, “Oh, maybe wearing low-rise jeans to show my thong wasn’t that bad.” Spoiler: it was. But this piece also hints at hope for the future. So, it’s basically your grandma who tells you to “Keep your chin up.”
