Sometimes trust looks like handing over a bracelet that means something to you.

Sometimes it looks like saying "yes" to a pair of earrings you've never even seen.

Kaye stopped by the studio for a bracelet repair and fell in love with one of the gold-filled chains I use for permanent jewelry. I thought I had a pair of coordinating earrings to show her, but they were sold out.

So I simply described them.

The River Dragons are officially on the move. 🐉

Shipping begins today, and only 10 pairs of The River Dragon Earrings remain available in the studio.

Inspired by overlapping dragon scales and the movement of the river, this limited 2026 Festival Edition was designed especially for the River Discovery Dragon Boat Festival.

Orders will remain open through Saturday, August 29, the day of the festival, while this year’s pairs remain available.

$185 per pair
$10 from every pair benefits River Discovery Center’s educational programs.

Three nominations that somehow capture three different pieces of what Lepa Jewelry has become: a locally owned business, a boutique, and a design studio where every piece begins with an idea and a pair of hands.

Paducah’s 2026 River Discovery Dragon Trail begins today! 🐉

From August 23–29, participating downtown businesses are becoming stops along the trail, leading up to the Dragon Boat Festival at River Discovery Center on Saturday.

And this is what you’ll find waiting at the Lepa Jewelry stop.

The limited-edition River Dragon Earrings were designed especially for this year’s celebration, with hand-formed Argentium silver scales and tiny 14k gold-filled rings that give them their beautiful movement.

Each pair will arrive on a commemorative display card created especially for the 2026 Dragon Trail, making it a small keepsake from this year’s Paducah celebration.

Stop in to see them in person, try them on and experience that movement for yourself.

A closer look at how The River Dragon Earrings came to life.

The design began with the idea of overlapping dragon scales, but I didn’t want them to feel rigid or heavy.

Each slender scale is individually formed from Argentium silver, textured by hand and connected with tiny 14k gold-filled rings. Those connections allow the layers to move independently, catching the light differently with every turn of your head.

The result is fierce, fluid and unmistakably Lepa Jewelry.

Only a limited number will be made for the 2026 River Discovery Dragon Trail.

It happened again. The Lepa Wave Ring sold out. Again.

This signature design has become one of those pieces women reach for almost as quickly as I can return it to the floor. Its sculptural lines feel powerful and fluid, with something beautifully unexpected from every angle.
