A Rolex doesn't lose value the way most watches do. Reference number, year, dial, condition, box and papers if you still have them. All of it factors into what the watch is actually worth on today's market.

A few things worth knowing before you sell scrap jewelry to anyone.

Weight matters. Purity matters more. A 10K ring and an 18K ring of the same weight can have very different values, so any buyer who isn't checking purity first is skipping a step. Spot price is the baseline. Gold prices move daily, and a fair offer should reference what the market is actually doing, not a flat rate someone made up.

You're never obligated to sell. Walk in, get a real number, walk out if you want. That's how it should work.
