I can’t believe we’re approaching one whole year since I’ve posted jewelry on this page 😅 But it seems fitting to jump back into it by posting not only my first wedding set that I’ve made.. But MY wedding set that I made for MYSELF 🥹

I had to search high and low to find the perfect stones for what I wanted.. And I finally found them and was able to bring my vision to life! And in true Sydney fashion along with a true representation of how chaotic 2024 was for me.. I was still setting stones and polishing this set up until the MINUTE we left for the airport at 2am. But it was worth it! I love everything about this set and will cherish these pieces and the memories they hold forever.

We haven’t gotten our full wedding gallery back yet, so the only picture I have of the set in action is me crying like a baby while my dad walks me down the aisle lol. But the green stones with the scenery was 1000/10!

Hey yall! So I know most people do this at the beginning of the year, but I figured I would take some time to reintroduce myself since it’s been a long time! I go MIA pretty often so I feel like no one knows who I am 😂

Anyways - My name is Sydney! I’m a proud Jesus lover, a mama to a sassy (almost) 5 year old, and a fiancé to my very best friend (pictured above). We actually get married this December and I’m SO excited!!! And it’s been almost exactly 9 years since our very first date 🥹 We live in ETX and while I never thought I would settle in the eastern part of the state.. I absolutely love where we’re at.

I mention it quite a bit, but in case you didn’t know I actually have a 9-5 job at a software company 🤓 And while I’m not exactly passionate about the tech industry.. I have lots of hobbies that help me channel that passion outside of work.

The first being silversmithing, of course! I love creating and channeling my artistic nature into pieces that people can keep forever. I’m naturally a very creative person and truly just love anything that lets me express that. I also love anything outdoors! Hunting, fishing, you name it. Our family spends a lot of time outside.

I’m also a very big agricultural enthusiast. I didn’t grow up in the ag industry, but got into FFA in high school and my love for it just grew exponentially from there. I actually dropped out of cosmetology school to pursue ag! I went to college for awhile with the dreams of being a livestock vet, but after becoming a mom earlier than planned.. I decided to switch and be an ag teacher. And now here I am.. a real life beauty school dropout, a college dropout, and part time turquoise dealer! 😂

I can confidently say I’ve had more curveballs thrown my way in life than I ever thought I would. But I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world! It led me here and it led me to you guys 🫶🏻 I just want to say how thankful I am that y’all choose to stick around and continue to support me. I’m not a huge brand, and probably never will be. I know I go MIA a lot because life is just crazy all the time. But I pour my heart into every piece I make and I just hope y’all can feel that.

I haven’t been posting much of my customs here lately, since I’ve decided to step away from doing that for awhile. But this one deserved a post! It was equally as fun as it was a challenge. Plus as a fellow waterfowl hunter, hand cutting the worlds tiniest duck was pretty cool 😅😂

I’m not accepting customs at the moment, but do look forward to making more mens items in the future!

Happy 2024!!! I hope everyone has had a safe and fun holiday season. I have taken the last few months to really sit back and evaluate what I want for this venture in 2024. I have taken silversmithing very slow, mainly due to my own personal time constraints. But I really want this to be the year that I can start giving it more of the attention that it deserves. In order to do that, I will need to change a few things.

1. I will no longer be accepting custom orders. This makes me sad because I do love creating custom pieces for people. But the hard truth is that they just take more time, which I don’t have a lot of. So after I wrap up the ones I currently have, that will be it for now.
I may announce availability for a few customs throughout the year, if I find myself with some extra time. But you’ll have to keep up with posts and stories for those announcements!

2. I plan to have 1 drop a month going forward. They may or may not be “themed”, and will vary in size. But I just plan to have fun with them! I have already started planing several of them and am so excited to share more on that soon!

3. I’m going to keep working on updating my branding to make it all feel very authentic to me, while also being cohesive. So if you notice a few things changing, that’s why!

I have a few other things planned, but will keep those a secret for now! Mainly I just wanted to say thank y’all as always for continuing to be here and show me support. I’m excited to see what 2024 brings for everyone! 🤎
