I was born and raised in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. I have spent the majority of my career as a teacher and curriculum coordinator with the American Indian Magnet School in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I am an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. My current bead and stone creations are a combination of simple and complex strands and patterns combined with other bead weaving techniques. Se
mi-precious stones and crystals are combined with cut glass beads to create unique designs in my jewelry. Although I still make and sell beaded stone work my current focus is on creating healthy snacks using whole grains and nuts and Indigenous products such as maple syrup as a sweetener rather than processed sugar.
