When I left my house this morning, I was determined to work on something new. I’ve struggled with bezel set stones for a long time, and I need to practice…that’s the only way to get better, right?

I’m super pleased with the way this simple fossilized coral cabochon pendant came out, and it only took me one try!

Fidget toys are back in stock. Jelly cubes are hot hot hot! I’ve got some copper, brass, and minis in stainless ready to go. ❤️

Yesterday was a painting day! Started out several pairs of alcohol ink earrings, and finished up some small paintings. I have a lot of fun with this style…IDK if it’s anyone else’s taste, but they make me happy!

Also demo’d titanium anodizing and copper flame painting for my friend Holly Hinkhouse Garcia, her daughter Lucy, and friend Ronda. It was fun to catch up, and I had a blast showing them all the magic of anodizing!

Friday was also the one-year anniversary of Dad’s passing. As always, he was on my mind…I made sure every child who came into my studio left with a little gift from his stash of 3D printed toys that I have left. I think he would have been thrilled to see the joy and smiles when kids get their frog or sipper buddy.

Due to temps over the next few days, I’m taking some time off (it’s very hot in my studio!) and working at home…back in next weekend!

I’ve spent the last couple of days working on dragon bracelets! After selling out at the Omaha Art Fair, this new herd of little guys are ready for adoption. So cute, the mouth opens, and s/he bites their tail to clasp!

Omaha, I’m exhausted.

Y’all wore me out with your support, energy, and enthusiasm for hand made art.

I’ll post again tomorrow when I’ve recovered a bit, but THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by, purchased art, visited, or helped our friends in need at the Omaha Art Fair.

This lonely little Chainmaille hackey was the last one I had left this afternoon, and it found a home about five minutes after this photo was taken! I’ve got a lot of work to do, but I’m forever grateful for your support.
