FRIENDS DONāT LET FRIENDS WEAR DIRTY JEWELRY! š¤£
Did you know that my silver and copper pieces WILL tarnish? I tell folks āyesā gleefully when they ask because I use actual silver and actual copper, not plated crap.
If you purchase a copper or silver piece from me and stop in my studio, I will happily toss it in my tumbler while you wander around the Hot Shops Art Center. When you come back, it will be shiny clean!
And if youāre looking for a way to clean your copper or silver jewelry at home, I record using a liquid jewelry cleaner, you can buy them at just about any retailer who carries jewelry. Or google how to clean using tinfoil, baking soda, and boiling water. ORā¦believe it or not ketchup (or catsup) will work, youāll just smell like a hamburger for a while. ALWAYS rinse your piece thoroughly after cleaning, you can even use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) to help make sure all the cleaner is removed.
Pics below are a piece before and after tumbling. Same light, same piece, no editing except to crop out the edges! Seriously, just like shiny new!
