I feel like I have finally come out of hibernation! I have been completely MIA between the holidays and going through training for a new job I had started in December.

I'm ready to get back in the studio and ready to create some new classes. Here are a few classes that are currently available that will take place at Hot Shops Art Center in studio 220.

Yesterday the studio was full of laughter, joy, connections and a lot of hammering. This bracelet making session was a special memory-filled one shares by two mothers and daughters, two sisters and a husband and wife! If you’re looking for something new to experience with your friends or family, try out a bracelet making class. It’s always a good time when you get to make something new and hammers are involved. Come join me and let’s make some memories and some bracelets too!

Day one of the Hot Shops Art Center Winter Opening House House was a success and a blast!

If you weren’t able to make it yeaterday, DAY TWO of the event is happening today from 11:00am-5:00pm.

With over 100 artists in one space, there’s sure to be something for everyone, a kick start of creativity within or a spark of joy for the next person on your holiday shopping list. There’s, music, art demonstrations, ceramics, glass blowing and so much more! It’s a hidden gem in Omaha!

You will find me in studio 220 alongside three fellow guest artists. Horizons Candle Shop, Grandmas House and HearthCraft

Here’s a little sneak peak! I will have over 25 new pieces of jewelry available, only a few of which have been added to the website.

Jenny has candles, magnesium sprays, wax melts, car diffusers, room sprays, and chapstick and more.

Haley will have holiday paintings, handmade aprons, bags, ornaments, wood burned spoons and so much more.

Shelby will be sharing her love of stained glass. She will have ornaments, plant stakes, hot air balloons, butterfly hangers and more.

I was planning on being in the studio today for Small Business Saturday but with the weather and the snow still coming down, I have decided to stay home today. I will be in the studio tomorrow from 11-4 and I will be offering some specials to make up for not being in the studio today.

I am missing Miss Bailey today. She was the best little studio assistant and bestie anyone could ask for. I just can’t believe it’s been three years since I had to say goodbye. It feels like I was just yesterday.

Wednesday nights are my favorite nights! Advanced class, open studio, crazy conversations, chaos, lots of laughs and a bunch of finished projects!

I encourage everyone to get out, try something new. You never know who you’ll meet, or creative endeavors you’ll fall in love with the process of. Maybe you’ll find to be a new favorite hobby. Wanna try playing with metal and fire? Come and join me in the studio in Omaha. It will be fun!
