What mixed feelings I had when I ventured to Oldsmar Flea Market and saw the destruction Hurricane Milton did to my old shoppe. The roof was blown off and the water so deep inside they are cyphering it out with a hose. I had left there a few months earlier prompted by medical needs. All is well now with health issues and my future looks bright.

However I feel compelled to write this as my heart goes out to fellow vendors who had to be relocated to other parts of the flea market as the first three rows A, B, and C will be torn down.

I know it has been stressful for them and I encourage all of you to visit them with Christmas gift giving in mind.
They are: Roxy & Jim Records now at D52 & 53W,
Stacey @ One Woman’s Junk D50W, Brian & Bonnie @ B& B Trading Post, D54W, Mary’s Place now at E11, and John’s Records also on E row , Ellie and Josh also moved D row right in the same area as the others (sorry I didn’t write their booth number down).

These are all great folks who work hard to present nice items to the public. I know what it’s like after being there myself for 38 years.

It is indeed an emotional time as I write this. I know the hurricanes have been a life-changing experience for so many of us. A very rude awakening of what nature can do.

Let us all take this as a time to remember to seize each day! We’ve heard it over and over but it rings so true to me today, ‘We never know what tomorrow will bring.’
