We’re excited to officially announce the theme for the 51st Annual Wewoka Sorghum Festival — “Sweet Land of Liberty”

This year’s theme has an extra special meaning. In 2026, the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, and we’re proud to make this historic milestone part of our celebration right here in Wewoka!

For more than 50 years, the Wewoka Sorghum Festival has been about celebrating the traditions that make our community special. Our history, our Native American heritage, our agricultural roots, our local businesses, and most importantly, the people who call this place home. “Sweet Land of Liberty” gives us the opportunity to celebrate all of those traditions while joining communities across the country in recognizing America’s 250th birthday.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Corey Fuller for designing this year’s artwork! Corey did an incredible job of bringing our 2026 theme to life.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Wewoka this fall for another day filled with all the traditions that make Sorghum Day one of our favorite days of the year!
