Free again — and this time, protected.
These are some of our most recently rescued wild horses, released into one of our sanctuaries. Each one was headed toward a fate no animal should ever face. Instead, thanks to this community and Sun Horse Foundation | 501(c)(3) , they’re roaming free again — safe, forever protected, and one even had her baby once she felt safe enough.
With the recent New York Times coverage on the crisis facing America’s wild horses, it means even more to know we’ve helped, in whatever small way we can. Every rescue matters. Every horse matters.
