The Legend of Operation Sparkle UP
A tiny little magical town in California is surrounded by majestic mountains covered in towering trees. One day a person might see this road, on another day they may not. But always, the lane appears to those with pure hearts who seek, and it remains invisible to those who do not seek. Up that winding lane is a simple cottage built by hand and composed of rocks
and logs with wrought iron, stained glass windows, gardens, and flowers, where two gay wizards live and work. Out back of their home is the workshop centering around a roaring fireplace and several electric kilns. Work tables are populated by leprechauns, elves, gnomes, and trolls, and glittering sprites and fairies are always floating about. The fairies and sprites bring the glitter, and the gnomes and elves bring sand from the sea. Together they put them into a large pot on the fire, and using bellows to raise the temperature of the fire, they melt the concoction into glittering, iridescent uplift glass. Then the elves roll out the molten glass into sheets. The trolls will then break it up into smaller pieces. The fairies spend a bit of time arranging each bit of light and love that goes into the piece, and then when all is in good order, they put the pieces into a kiln and fire them up at 1400 + degrees (the actual temperature is a carefully guarded secret). And when the kiln cools down, out comes the product. At the end of the night - leprechauns, gnomes, elves, sprites, and fairies prefer working overnight - the factory foreman - a crabby old troll, lays out the pieces for inspection by the two gay wizards. The Wizards scrutinize each piece for flaws and inspiration, then pronounce powerful prayers over them, waving their great wands and staffs and proclaiming, "May these tiny bits of captured light reach the right hearts. May each piece find the right hearts, and the glass remind that soul that they are here to shine their unique light. Glass is grounding. Irridesence is holy and a connection to the divine. Your mind is a work of art. Your heart is a force for good. There is only one of you. Wearing this amulet will remind you of your unique gifts. Glass will ground you and protect you so you can shine your unique light. The message is clear. Keep going. Keep sharing your unique light in this world, Amen." The two gay Wizards and their staff of leprechauns, gnomes, fairies, trolls, elves, brownies, sprites, and fairies want you to know that magic is real. Yours is a magic unique unto you.
