Lisa LaBonte Meyers Hand-Forged Silver Jewelry Modern & Organic, Torch Fused, Hammer Textured Fine Silver Jewelry All items are handcrafted by me, Lisa Meyers, in my cottage studio.

No two pieces are ever identical. I fuse (love to play with fire), hand forge, hammer, texture, oxidize, tumble, and hand-polish each piece of fine silver (99.9% pure) jewelry to create a unique OOAK piece of wearable art. Fine Silver is Pure Silver. Sterling Silver is an alloy which is a mixture of metals. Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver, and the rest is other metals - mostly copper. The addition

of copper to silver makes it stronger, but has some drawbacks, such as tarnishing, and a phenomenon known as "firescale" when you heat sterling silver. The softness of Fine Silver allows me to add gorgeous texture to each piece I make. It is brighter and doesn't tarnish like Sterling Silver. I love the raw and organic style of my work and I hope you will too!
