WE ARE RETIRING !!!
As of December 31st Thomas and Carol will be closing Swamp John’s for good. Having spent 51 seasons in a business that has been in the same place and under the same ownership is a rare accomplishment these days!

Having said that, we are ready to spend more time with our kids and grandkids and to spend our summers at the lake. This December we are liquidating our inventory ( with savings up to 70%!) and taking the opportunity to say goodbye to our friends and clients who have meant so much to us over the years.

So much of our time together has been spent with you all in Perkins Cove,and it is very bittersweet to retire. We hope you will visit with us this holiday season and share a memory of the Cove or of a treasured piece of jewelry, and perhaps pick up a new favorite piece. We also hope that you will continue to think of us when you are in need of fine jewelry: our nephew, Jordan Fretz, began carrying his jewelry in our store and running the shop over the last two summers and will continue to carry fine jewelry in the same location.

We're feeling nostalgic this November.

On Saturday the 20th, we will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We got married in the autumn of the same year that we opened Swamp John's - 1971. These days, it's a rare business that has been in the same place and under the same ownership for 51 seasons.

Having said that, we're ready to enjoy more time with our kids and grandkids and to spend our summers at the lake. This November and December, we are liquidating our inventory and taking the opportunity to say goodbye to our friends and clients who have meant so much to us over the years.
