🌍💵 Interesting facts about fiat currencies!

• All of them have eventually collapsed or been replaced.
• The average lifespan of a fiat currency is just 25-30 years.
• This year, the US dollar in its current form turns 55 years old—well beyond the average!

U.S 1926 $10 GOLD COIN MS64+
-
This 1926 $10 United States Gold Eagle is a striking example of early 20th-century American coinage, struck at the Philadelphia Mint and certified in Mint State 64+ condition. As a Philadelphia issue, it bears no mint mark, consistent with U.S. Mint practices of the era, and reflects the craftsmanship and precision associated with the nation’s principal minting facility.
-
Graded MS64+, this coin sits near the top of the Mint State spectrum, exhibiting exceptional eye appeal with only the slightest imperfections visible under close inspection. At this grade level, the coin retains strong original luster, with vibrant cartwheel effects that sweep across the surfaces when tilted under light. The strike is typically bold for the issue, with well-defined details in Liberty’s portrait and the surrounding motifs.
-
The obverse features the iconic design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful designs in American numismatics. Lady Liberty strides forward confidently, torch raised in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, symbolizing enlightenment and peace. Surrounding her are 46 stars representing the states of the Union at the time, adding both balance and historical significance to the composition.
-
On the reverse, a majestic bald eagle stands proudly on a bundle of arrows and an olive branch, representing both military readiness and a desire for peace. The inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “TEN DOLLARS” frame the design, reinforcing its denomination and national identity.
