I had to take a sabbatical from my jewelry for a bit but I have missed the creative process and picked up my tools, beads and glass again! I know that dogs or cats would be more noble! I can remember and making them beautiful again! My real passion is creating with beach glass. Living on Long Island, I have been collecting all my life. All of the beach glass that I use is authentic, Ocean tumbled glass - either from my own collection or others that I have acquired. Some are hand drilled or wrapped in either sterling or brass. All my materials are high quality and well priced. I love sparkly things and glass also. The glass beads that I use are hand blown in Vermont. I know that the name "Burma Road" sounds foreign but I chose the name to honor my Long Island and Fire Island roots. Burma Road runs the length of Fire Island, the barrier beach on Long Island. Burma Road.......... Burma Road is a old Beach Buggy "dirt" road that extends the entire length of Fire Island, continues on to the other side of the Moriches Inlet, and all the way to Shinnicock Inlet. It's name is derived from the fact that the island is sitting on a "Berm" that has built over hundreds, if not thousands of years. And it is the heart of the island. I hope you enjoy my designs!
