On Saturday, May 2nd, we welcomed bride-to-be Camilla Boyle along with nearly 40 of her closest family + friends to Rose Farm for a beautiful bridal shower brunch celebrating her upcoming wedding.

Guests spent the morning sipping sangria, tea, and coffee while enjoying quiche, chicken salad, fresh fruit, and pastries gathered around the table together. To add a special touch, the group purchased a Blooms to Go bucket and filled delicate bud vases with fresh flowers from the farm.

One of the sweetest moments of the morning came as each guest shared one word to describe Camilla. Words like kind, trustworthy, encouraging, and always shows up painted such a beautiful picture of the person she is and the life she’s building.

As the celebration came to a close, guests took home sweet seed packets as a reminder of a day filled with love, friendship, and joyful anticipation for the season ahead.

At Rose Farm, Memorial Day carries a meaning that runs far deeper than the start of summer. It is a sacred time of reflection, gratitude + remembrance. My husband, Patrick, lovingly known around the farm as “The Dream Maker,” proudly retired from the military after 30 years of service, including serving in two wars (here is Patrick pictured serving in Afghanistan). Because of his service, and the sacrifices made by so many brave men and women alongside him, this day is especially close to our hearts.

Memorial Day reminds us to pause in the middle of life’s busyness. It’s a time to reflect on the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy each day. We remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and honor the families who carry that loss with them always.

At Rose Farm, we believe there is something meaningful about gathering together, slowing down, and appreciating the beauty, peace, and freedom that others fought so hard to protect. Today and every day, we are deeply grateful. We are wishing you a safe + beautiful holiday.

May has been a whirlwind of planting at Rose Farm, and we are celebrating a HUGE milestone! The Grace is officially fully planted… whew! Over 2,000 dahlias + thousands upon thousands of baby flowers were tucked into the ground last week, and all of this beautiful rain is giving those little blooms exactly what they need to thrive for their big debut in mid-to-late June.

Across the farm, our roses, lilacs, peonies, stock, snapdragons, and sweet peas are waking up and filling the gardens with color and life. This summer, the Carol Marie will be bursting with 4,000 giant dahlia Blue Point zinnias for you to enjoy.

With four blooming gardens across the farm, choosing what flowers belong in your bucket may be the hardest part of your visit. Did you know there are so many ways to enjoy Rose Farm Florals? Fill a bucket when you attend an event or rent the farm, become a Garden Club member, order Blooms to Go, stroll through the gardens while gathering blooms, or enjoy the flowers during a stay at Victoria’s House.
