Work is light and I’m headed out on some hiking adventures this week.

I’m a bit sad today as I had to bury our pet chicken this morning. I think she may have been egg bound and had cankers that prevented her from laying. She was a sickly chicken from the get go and I had to medically intervene a few times to save her throughout her life.

While I desperately want to fill the void she left with more chicks, I’m at a place in life where I want to focus on taking better care of myself physically and mentally and more pets is not going to do that for me. I have lots of plans to travel next summer with my new truck. I had the frame scaled and coated and it’s time to start doing things for me again.

I’ll see ya in a few days with some more pretty pictures. ✌🏼💚🏔️
