The reason I started taking collagen isn’t the reason I still take it.
Years ago, I started taking it because my joints hurt.
At the time, I wasn’t thinking about skin, beauty, or healthy aging. I just wanted to be more comfortable moving through my day
Over time, I noticed benefits for my skin too.
But after being diagnosed with osteoporosis, I started learning more about bone health and how important collagen actually is to the structure of our bones.
That was eye-opening.
These days, when I think about healthy aging, I’m thinking about:
• Strength
• Bone density
• Muscle
• Mobility
• Staying independent
For me, collagen isn’t about chasing younger-looking skin.
It’s one part of a much bigger strategy to support the life I want to keep living.
That’s what aging strong means to me.
