Not your average engagement rings. Bet you’ve never seen the last one!

These center stones are all showstoppers. Which would you rock?

1. Alexandrite. This stone changes color when in different lights! Some variations go from blue to purple, others feature deep reds and greens!
2. Padparadscha sapphires. These are super rare when found in nature, and sought after by collectors all over the world. Their color range is like a sunset - bright oranges, salmon pinks, deep apricot.
3. You’ve probably heard of garnet (January’s birthstone!), but did you know it also comes in bright orange and bright green?
4. Salt and pepper diamonds are really having a moment right now and it’s obvious why! These heavily included stones are so unique - no other gem captures this vibe!
5. Probably one of the coolest looking gems out there - mystic topaz! These stones are a kaleidoscope of colors. Such a unique choice!

Smiling ear to ear because Grace DeMalto Bailey and David Bailey tied the knot!

David designed Grace’s engagement ring with us back in 2023. It’s the most perfect, timeless piece: an elongated cushion set in 14K yellow gold with the sweetest double prongs. Then it was Grace’s turn. She designed her own cuff wedding band to sit snug underneath her engagement ring. The baguettes and round diamonds add a pop of personality to her stack and we couldn’t love it more!

End of summer blues are starting to hit, but these blue gems are the cure! Which stone is your favorite?

1. The depth of purple-y blue alexandrite will always be a favorite here at CustomMade. Bonus points for the color change.
2. Okay technically this stone is probably a little closer to green, but it deserved its moment! Love the unique lozenge cut and the different flecks of color in this teal sapphire.
3. A stunning Montana sapphire, reminiscent of the ocean.
4. One of the coolest gems we’ve seen in the office - a fantasy cut teal moissanite! The fire in this gem was absolutely insane

Style spotlight: non-traditional diamond cuts 🪩

We’ve been so excited to see some of our customers venture into some more uncommon diamond cuts for their center stones! Would you try any of these?

1. Criss cut cushion: this stone pairs the shape of an elongated cushion with a unique criss-cross facet structure. It’s like the funky sister of the emerald cut!
2. Portuguese cut: this diamond is the closest thing we can find to a disco ball. It has over 160 facets (your typical round brilliant has 58) making it insanely sparkly!
3. The moval: this diamond is growing in popularity for its subtle uniqueness. It’s somewhere between an oval and a marquise, and its elongated shape is really elegant.
4. Elongated brilliant cut hexagon and…
5. Elongated step cut hexagon. These two are both really having their moment right now and we couldn’t love it more. Both have that bold, angular silhouette, but the brilliant cut has more of a glittery sparkle while the step cut has more mirror-like flashes of light. Which one do you prefer?

We love designing these kinds of rings. They feature so many of the elements that make a ring timeless, while adding a pop of personality through details chosen just for the wearer. That’s the beauty of going custom: you can marry classic and unique without compromising!

There are so many ways to design a ring that will feel just like you, forever. Which one is your favorite?

1. Fancy green marquise diamond in a bypass setting with a matching curved, diamond pavé band
2. Honey yellow moissanite (!!) set in an engraved band with diamond accent stones
3. Oval diamond set in a “molten” or organic setting with diamond star accents
4. Cigar band with a stunning criss-cut grey moissanite

Weddings are always pure magic, but they really hit different when it’s one of your own 🥹 Happy (almost) one year anniversary to one of our fearless leaders Sarah Kate and her hubby Ben Turnbull!

Not only did Ben pop the question with a knockout elongated cushion diamond ring, but SK also designed her own wedding band complete with stunning yellow diamonds. A true CustomMade wedding. The girl has taste! 💛 Congrats, love birds!

2. Pear cut deep blue sapphire with delicate vintage metalwork
