Since debuting the collection, there has been major buzz surrounding the faux items and the It-girl designer behind the brand, as she has been featured in Vogue Magazines Best Street Style at AfroPunk Festival 2015, leading her to become a professional model, signed to BiCoastal Model Management.

Spent the day at Concrete Jungle exhibition and walked away so inspired. As a lover of nature and a native New Yorker, first generation born from Jamaican parents who spent summers in Jamaica at our family home surrounded by flowers and trees 🌸. 🇯🇲 The orchid show was the perfect combination of the things I love, architecture, NYC and nature. As a jewelry designer and artist who combines nature within sculptural designs, this exhibition nailed it. If I could reimagine NYC this is what it would be. A much needed day of joy and inspiration.

Watch Me ⏱️In honor of international Women’s Day and women’s history month, I’m honored to be highlighted as a leader in the jewelry industry for the Watch Me campaign.
As a woman creative entrepreneur who arrived at the jewelry industry as a second career, then becoming a GIA graduate gemologist it is my goal to help others find their passion sooner. As 1 of 3 women cofounders (Lisa Jones and Adrianne Sanogo ) who I also celebrate of BIJC Education Fund/ dba Future Jewelers Foundation a 501(c)(3). My goal as president is to usher in the next generation of talent and creative minds. When I founded Made by Malyia my goal was simple help others express themselves through jewelry I designed. Watch me, and the other amazing leaders shape the industry.

Today February 3 marks what would have been the birthday of my eldest Brother. Happy Birthday to my eldest brother. I’m still devastated by your passing. One week ago we lost a major pillar in our family. I haven’t experienced a loss like this, so I’m taking any advice on how to navigate. Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support. I’ll be slow to get back to designing, slow to create again but I will create again because I know he’s rooting for me on the other side.

What gives me comfort is that you were one of my biggest supporters. My work and designs will now have an even deeper meaning and reference. I know I will use this pain to fuel my creativity but for now, I cherish these memories and celebrate you.

MADE BY MALYIA©️ Bespoke. Bespoke design is my passion and it’s what connects me most to my jewels aka clients. This project was so special it deserved a cinematic release. Thank you for the amazing opportunity to create and bring this work of art life. This piece represents love that stands the test of time, rooted in legacy, grounded in family, and community. The bezel guards and protects the beautiful center natural elongated cushion cut diamond and anchors the heart of the piece which encapsulates the love of this couple and their family. Complimented by a bezel set eternity band with a stone to represent every year of there love story . Cheers to another year of creating masterpieces.

2025 recap. This year was filled with so many memories, some of the standouts Tiffany & Co. X CFDA top 10 jewelry designer, started a foundation , introduced over 70 high school students to the jewelry industry through bench jewelry and design, designed bespoke jewelry for amazing clients and their special moments, guest speaker GIA, featured as a muse for an art gallery, featured by the Cut, traveled, Paris WJI 2030 leadership forum founded by Cartier X Kering and ofc time with my favorite people.

Attended the X Screening of the Jewels of South Africa episode, and had the best time. The show is a must watch if you love travel, great story telling and learning about the stories that shape countries. I will be tuned in!

Here’s a closer look at this fan favorite. I also promise to post more jewelry! I have so many pieces I’ve never shared. As a bespoke fine jewelry designer my goal is to capture my clients vision through sourcing, design, extraordinary detail and quality craftsmanship. Guiding my clients and their love ones through the creative process is one of my favorite things about designing custom jewelry. When I sourced this stone, I knew it was the right one. My hunch was confirmed when my client and his mother also picked that stone as their top choice without any prompting from me. This collective act brought us to a beautiful 7.22 Ct Morganite set in 18K rose gold which complements the stones beautiful color. 0.49 cttw of natural diamonds on the band.
