Just acquired an incredible group of estate finds—an eclectic mix sourced from around the world, all dating back roughly 120 to 220 years. The condition is exceptional across the board. Some pieces are solid gold, others gold-filled, but every single item carries character, history, and craftsmanship you just don’t see today.

We don’t love melting jewelry—but sometimes a piece is simply too heavy or impractical to bring to market as-is. When that happens, we focus on preserving the best parts. Incredible stones and elements deserve a second life, whether that means repurposing them into new designs or offering them loose.

Untouched, never properly cleaned — you can see the life it’s lived. Filmy, with flea bites, abrasions, and nicks around the girdle and facet junctions. Exactly how we like to find them… honest stones with history.

Next step: light polish to clean up the edges and remove the chips, followed by a 24hr acid soak to strip off any stubborn film. Then it’s off to GIA.

We’re estimating it finishes around ~2.40ct, IJ color, VS2–SI1 range.

Day 1 of the NYJAOS show was as a blast.

Here’s a deal we did where I sold a spectacular Victorian 30 carat emerald drop necklace, and the client pulls out a brand new Daytona from his bag. We ended up doing a trade and everyone was happy. FUN FACT, we love doing trades with our IG friends.

Getting to meet clients from all over the world is one of the most fun parts of what we do.

We had a friend visit us from Hong Kong who instantly connected with a rare pair of vintage Hammerman ducks—the kind of pieces you just don’t see twice. She knew exactly what they were the moment she laid eyes on them and didn’t hesitate… they were hers right away.

That’s the beauty of this world—when someone truly understands a piece, it speaks instantly. She even shared something incredible she was wearing, which made the whole moment even more special.
