The United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs (USAIGC) is an independent alternative gymnastics program that offers greater flexibility to gymnasts. We are a volunteer organization that is based on helping business owners and coaches. All of our Code of Points decisions are based on votes by the coaches and feedback from our members. Ten countries participate in our competitive pro
grams: United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Bermuda, Canada, South Africa, India, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, and Romania. USAIGC & IAIGC offer rhythmic programs, artistic women's programs, tumbling programs, and warrior programs. This page is the official page for the Rhythmic Gymnastics program. We offer six competitive rhythmic levels: Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Premier; and one sub-level (PreCopper for the very young or inexperienced athletes). This allows gymnasts to participate in other activities while also maintaining their abilities. Gymnasts do not need to devote as much time to practice as they would in other organizations since USAIGC believes that a well-rounded life and quality during training is better then quantity. Gymnasts often use USAIGC as a college bound program since it is able to create its own rules, goals, and objectives. USAIGC Competitive Program Goals and Objectives
1. Jointly develop a USAIGC “membership driven” College Bound competitive program. Each USAIGC Club Member has one vote on all Competitive Rules, allowing them a vested right in our competitive program.
2. To provide a Competitive program that uses a “common sense approach” to rule development along with a “positive scoring system” for the self-esteem and self-worth for our gymnasts.
3. To provide a Competitive program that is educationally sound, progressively challenging, safe and FUN!
4. To have a Competitive philosophy that believes Competition is not just about scores and placement; Competition is just as much about the total experience for our gymnasts, their families, coaches and officials.
