Why does Blue Francis name its jewelry after places in New York?

Each Blue Francis collection is named after a place in New York because that is where the brand started, and each place shaped a different part of the collection's design.

Soho is named for its classic architecture and understated style. Brooklyn is named for its individuality, shown through playful motifs like butterflies and unicorns. Hudson is named for the river, and its butterflies reflect that sense of movement. Liberty is named for independence, marked by a small ruby heart detail. Central is named for Central Park, where the pace of the city slows down for children to play.
New York is where the story began. But the names are just a starting point. Each piece is made in solid 14K gold, gold vermeil, or sterling silver, and made to become part of whichever story it joins next.
