A glimpse into my studio, and the story behind it.
This wall holds more than just my work. It’s a reflection of where it all comes from. I grew up surrounded by art, my mother, a sculptor working on large scale, nature driven pieces, and my grandfather, William Gaskin, who helped shape the arts in San Francisco through the San Francisco Art Commission.
I studied sculpture and metalsmithing in San Francisco, and for the past 18 years, I’ve been building on that foundation, carrying forward a lineage of making, material, and meaning. Every piece I create is connected to that history.
