My name is Pluto and I live near Riverside Park in New York City. I am a red pied French Bulldog (not to be confused with my esteemed and larger English cousins) and live happily with my humans Kim and Andre. This story starts in the fall of 2012 in Paris when my humans took their little niece Laura for her very first trip to France. I was left behind, much to my loud and obvious dismay. They stay

ed at a fabulous boutique hotel on the Left Bank which is run by my distant cousin Bertrand (ok, it is his mama who really owns the place, however, he still runs it) and upon meeting the little fellow they discovered his mama had this beautiful Frenchie ring which she wore proudly for all the guests to admire. Andre, who got to Paris a couple days before the girls arrived, inquired about the origin of the ring and procured the details of the artisan responsible. He lives in Italy (smart guy!) and happens to be (you guessed it) French ~ A nice French connection to my collection…

Upon their return to New York, Andre quietly contacted the Artist, having in mind (as always) a very special surprise present for Kim! What could be better than an elegant, artistic replica of me that she could wear and I could be with her, always! While brainstorming with the artist in creating my enamel portrait, the idea of my very special and unique Pluto-Art collection was born. My humans got such a fantastic reaction to the ring, and were overwhelmed by friends and family wanting to purchase one (or commission one) of their own pet, the rest is history! Today we create and sell rings of over 20 breeds (more coming soon!) based on photographs provided by humans of their canine companions. And I am not yet two years old! The line is growing, and will soon include charms, pendants and cuff-links as well as miniature statuettes - watch for upcoming news on our blog.
