Mary Jo Pane is a self taught jewelry designer known for spiritually inspired collection Miracle Icons by Mary Jo Pane. Each one of a kind piece combines vintage and antique religious medals, semi precious stones, oxidized sterling silver chain and authentic Tibetan prayer beads. Miracle Icons was conceived after 9/11 and the illness of a friend and her own belief in saints and angels. While refl

ecting on both events Pane, came up with the idea of taking the medals she wore as a child and turning them into cool jewelry people would want to wear. She then began the process of teaching herself to make jewelry, having had a career in both wholesale and retail fashion prior to that. Carried at some of the finest stores in the country including Barney,s Miracle Icons resonate with an evolved world view, an openness to possibilities beyond intellectual understanding and with a sense of spirit that transcends specific religious beliefs. Celebrity clients include Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Hillary Clinton, Collin Farrell, Robin Thicke, Ricky Martin, Dierks Bentley, The Band Perry, Paul Weller, Justin Timberlake, Matthew McConaughey, Jake Gyllenhaal , Halle Barry to name a few.
