SJP has been a client for pushing a decade- We have found her to be well….awesome. I still
recall the first time she came into the shop- Our West Village shop was new to the
neighborhood and she popped in on a chilly evening with the girls and Matthew in tow. The girls
were thrill because the Christmas tree man on the corner gave them the trimmings of the trunks
and they were going to make coasters. She was kind and a true lover of antique jewelry,
especially collet settings well before they were en vogue…Couldn’t be happier to see her
receiving the Carol Burnett Award, she is as graceful in person as she is in her acceptance
speech. As always, we love the jewels- only she would pair a collet set Riveria with a delicate
strand of pearls. A trend setter and a steady icon at once. Cheers to you SJP!

This is all deco- the geometric straight lines of the central step cut, which is not quite Carre not quite Asscher, and not quite emerald cut. It is it's own magical cut, set ever so slightly east to west. She was found with Tiffany&Co hallmarks in her faded original velvet box. Made in the early 20th century during the height of the Art Deco movement. The central diamond is 3.20ish carats. A joy to see, a pleasure to wear.
