What happens when an architect & jeweler join forces together for a custom project based on cats?

Fresh from the bench, this custom ring for Andrew as a gift for Mariya is in honor of their tabby cat, Lyger. (Sip for photos of this gorgeous model). Lyger is aging with grace and we wanted to memorialize him forever using his very own whiskers in the resin on either side of the band. This ring for Mariya is for her to carry him close, always as a testament of her love for him.

Andrew of Andrew Kaplan RA is an architect and together, we modeled this vision of a ring with two cats, sitting like sphinx on either side of the ring framing the basket of the watermelon tourmaline, a fun bi-colored gem that Mariya loves. Yellow shield cut sapphires march Lyger’s yellow eyes with little chevrons down either side. The front of the platinum band features a striped pattern to match Lyger’s stripes.

Mariya, we hope you love your new ring and wear it with joy, pride, and memory to keep you fur child close to the heart always.

The sky is the limit when it comes to custom jewelry, and we love honoring our loved ones in all ways.

Congratulations to Nadia Nadia Aurelie Tomasini & Storm Storm Armstrong on your beyond words gorgeous engagement ✨❤️

Storm spent months planning his proposal for Nadia. He found the perfect location in Monet’s garden in Nadia’s home country of France, to suprise her with a one-of-a-kind engagement ring. Just like the intention he made to find the perfect location, photographer, and more - we worked together to design and create Nadia’s heirloom engagement ring.

Storm and I went back and forth for months to fine tune the gallery, or the underside, of the ring where basket settings hold three Old European cut diamonds. Two of which the side diamonds were from Nadia’s family while Storm and I found the perfect center Old Euro to honor their legacy.

From the bottom of my heart, congratulations to both of you! Thank you for the honor to bring your engagement ring to life in platinum & diamonds.

Happy Autumn Equinox!🍁🍂🥮

In the northern hemisphere where I am, we are now shifting into autumn as we move towards winter, making the days shorter and the night’s longer. Personally, I absolutely love the autumn season and the shift of the leaves colors with welcoming time of going within! It’s both a creative & inspiring time.

In celebration of the equinox, I’m sharing some autumn inspiration with yellow and green parti sapphires, where the stone is more than one color, the excitement of a fall proposal, and my love for mixed metals, such as blending platinum and yellow gold ✨

I’m looking forward to autumn hikes with crimson, yellow & orange leaves, a toasty cup of hot chai, and candle lit book reading under a cozy blanket.
