Founded by René Lalique at the turn of the 20th century, the maison built its reputation not on convention, but on transformation—turning glass, enamel, and gemstone into breathtaking sculpture worn on the body. More than a hundred years later, that instinct for figural drama remains the house’s defining signature.

At the center of this month’s spotlight is an extraordinary example: a winged phoenix carved directly from rock crystal. Her feathers are rendered in soft white enamel and framed by warm gold scrollwork that curls like smoke. Pavé diamonds trace the sweep of her wings and flow seamlessly into the collar itself, making the pendant and necklace read as one continuous, fluid form. This bracelet immediately caught my attention because of its color palette and custom cut gem selection.
