Appraisals:
We offer full appraisal of all your jewelry pieces. Our professional staff includes Gemologist and Diamond Expert, who are trained to appraise carefully and accurately. The value can be determined for a new item or a comparable item equal in quality, age and utility to the item being appraised. Additionally the appraiser must consider the most appropriate market for the items being appraised that is the market in which the greatest number of sales would occur. Pearl Restringing:
We offer a full high quality pearl restring service to a high standard, all pearls are removed from the original silk and cleaned by hand, both inside and out prior to rethreading on to new silk. We are able to restring your pearls as a plain strand or knotted between each pearl. In addition, we are also able to offer a restringing service on gemstone beads on a variety of materials including silk, nylon and steel wire for those larger, heavier items. Replacing Stones:
If your item requires a replacement stone, we have an extensive collection of loose, colored gemstones and diamonds to draw from, and worldwide sources to find even the rarest stone to meet your needs. We offer lapidary services to customize the cut on stones for one of a kind look that is guaranteed to be uniquely yours. We can bring older pieces back to life by combining them together, or modifying the design, all at a very affordable price. Special Cutting:
Cut refers to the shape and proportion of a diamond or any other stone. May be cut in a wide variety of shapes available on the market but the most popular are round, oval, marquise, pear, emerald, radiant, princess and heart. Care must be taken to avoid buying a stone that has been cut too far from the "excellent" proportions. When a stone has either a very shallow or very deep cut, light is lost through the sides and bottom of the stone, reducing its brilliance. Cutting a stone that has "very good to good" cut or proportions usually results in a smaller carat weight stone.
