I’ve made a couple of these for myself and as gifts. Now, I finally made one to sell. One of a kind 1940s/50s Mexican tourist upcycled on a men’s size medium denim jacket. I used appliqués from the shop of Berty. In my exploration, I discovered that their creations had the loveliest faces and the only men with hands. The wool jackets usually have holes or stains so this preserves the best part of the workmanship. The appliqués are hand sewn onto the jacket. I have embroidered the denim jacket with paths and flowers around the houses and decorative accents on the button holes, top and bottom pockets. The jacket is $498 including USPS domestic shipping.
