The Fluted Ducor Charm- an oval cabochon tanzanite set in weighty, fluted 18k yellow gold and finished with hidden hand engravings.

Tanzanite is found in only one place in the world: a small area near the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Discovered in the 1960s, its limited geographic origin makes it one of the rarest colored gemstones, known for shifting between shades of violet, blue and deep indigo depending on the light.

Sourced stone by stone. The aquamarine drops were found after days of searching at the Tucson Gem Show, tucked away in the booth of a Milan-based gem dealer and his family. The sugarloaf emeralds came from my longtime New York emerald source- a shape we’ve been returning to again and again for custom pieces lately.

Why 22k gold? For the color. Its rich, saturated yellow brings out the depth of deep green emeralds.
