I still have my business for sale in the New Port Richey, Florida area. I have thousands of customer invoices for sale. These invoices contain info on clocks repaired or serviced......and there is almost no one in that area servicing clocks. All one would have to do is to contact my old customers and you'd be off and running. If you have interest, please contact me!

Hello friends! I've noticed a huge upswing in people visiting my page here! Thanks for stopping by. I've always been very busy with clock repair.....and since retiring, it's barely slowed down! For over four decades, it's been around 100 small clocks, and close to thirty grandfather clocks each month. Since moving from Florida to the mountains of north Georgia last fall......word has gotten out! I've been super busy doing in home servicing of grandfather clocks....and have taken in a few smaller clocks. I'm grateful to all of the new customers, and am hoping it slows down just a bit! But, for now, it's pickleball most mornings and spending free time enjoying small town life. I'll try and post more content as the months roll by. Thanks again for stopping by! Hello friends! I thought I'd give you an update on my retirement. Ok....it's not going so well....LOL. We are wintering in the mountains of north Georgia. We got a little bored.....so we moved some of our stuff up here and opened a small booth in an antique shop. The big shop goes to auction next month. Check out Ballpark Auctions in Port Richey,FL. Hello friends! As I work more towards retirement, I still come across grandfather clocks that require service. This Ridgeway clock had never been serviced since new in 1996. It finally stopped working last month. Since it was never serviced, it was worn beyond repair. You can see how worn all of the first wheel pivots (bearings) are. This was the worst one I've seen in a while. Fortunately, for this customer, a new movement was available. Make sure to have your mechanical clocks serviced every three years or so. A qualified clocksmith will remove the movement from the case. They will then clean, inspect and lubricate the movement. Best regards, Rich
