Every step of the way bringing care and attention to my chosen craft ♡

Each necklace starts with portions of rope cut for the specific design. This design, Lifted Heart, requires 4 lengths with very particular color gradations. I tie markers of yarn so when I get to the dye buckets I know where orange goes and where blue goes, etc. leaving room for play always.
Once the lengths are rinsed (this time in frozen buckets because of severe weather) it's back to the table where I bring the shape together using a few different techniques I've developed over the years. Then trimming of cut ends and hammering the brass clasp bring it all to the finished wearable form.
