VIT's PVP College of Architecture, Pune

VIT's PVP College of Architecture, Pune hosted the Indian Domestic Competition to select two students representing India at the Asian Contest for Architectural Rookie’s Award (ACARA) to be organised by King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand in November 2022.
This competition was held in PVPCoA on 20th August 2022 from 9 am to 6 pm. Students from various colleges across India presented their 2nd/3rd/4th Year B. Arch Architectural Design work of academic session 2021-22 , on the theme of “Architecture post COVID 19”,
42 Participants from 11 cities of India had registered for this contest, out of which 29 participants reported & presented their work. Ar Prof Prasanna Desai , Director of PVPCOA, the convener of this event conducted the proceedings.

The Jury was impressed with the diversity of projects & quality of work presented in the competition. While appreciating the efforts taken by all the presenters of the day as well as the host institute, they gave their valuable feedback on the competition entries outlining the importance of the context, culture of the place & the users.
Gold winners of Indian Domestic Contest are presented with Rs 10,000/- prize each while Silver Winners received a prize of Rs 5000 /- each along with trophies and certificates.

PVP College of Architecture, Pune invites B.arch students of 3rd, 4th and 5th year of academic session 2022-23 to participate in Indian Domestic Contest 2022 for (ACARA- 2022).

The theme for ACARA 2022 is *" Architecture After COVID 19 "*, (any building type). Any 2nd , 3rd or 4th year design project of academic year 2021-22 related on this theme will be accepted.

ACARA-2022
Indian Domestic Contest will be held on *Sat 20th August 2022* at on Zoom Digital Platform organized by PVPCoA, Pune.

Maximum two entries from each college (duely endorsed by the college) will be accepted for Indian Domestic contest.

Two Gold Winners of Indian Domestic Contest will represent India at ACARA 2022 at Ladkrabang, Thailand on an online platform from 19-21 November 2022 in an online digital platform.
