I'm inspired by the unique flora and greenery of Louisiana, which I incorporate into my designs. The flowers and natural materials in my work are hand-picked, pressed, and arranged in-house. I also cut, hammer, and shape the metal bases of my jewelry by hand. Each piece takes a significant amount of time and care to complete. All materials that I use are ethically sourced from my personal garden a

nd public spaces in New Orleans. One of my favorite past times is walking around the city and picking up seemingly mundane materials that I can turn into something beautiful. I'd like for my art and jewelry to be a reminder to take a moment out of our busy lives to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us.
