💚We are all familiar with the terms “Emerald Isle” and “Emerald City” which give us an idea of the beautiful colour of May’s birthstone.
Found in several areas of the world today from Zambia to, most famously, Colombia, emeralds are considered rare.Members of the Beryl family of minerals, emeralds have been highly prized since the time of the Ancient Egyptians and are still very popular today! Once believed to cure diseases such as cholera and malaria, emeralds today are mostly associated with emotional healing and balance.💚
💚We are fortunate to have some beautiful examples of emeralds in both silver and gold settings, as well as some raw specimens💚
THANKYOU for your continued patience and support as we navigate the ongoing street closures and repairs in the French Quarter….Bobo is waiting by the door to see you!
