A spring photo dump of what’s happening around the shop lately ✨

Since I haven’t posted here since Christmas (whoops 😆), I thought I’d let you know we’re still here sewing leather goods, shipping orders, + sourcing cool USA made goods for our little shop in rural Wisconsin.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

December flew by in a flash. It was filled with so many sweet memories in our shop and long days in the sewing studio. Thankful for each one of you who decided to shop with us this month, from both near and far. We experienced more orders than ever before, and we appreciate your patience as we figured things out on the fly.

Some highlights:
+ on brand wrapping paper
+ our advent window painted by local artist and a fun night of celebrating the season with locals
+ sewing wallets nonstop 👏🏼👏🏼 (thanks for your orders)
+ an impromptu bracelet making workshop for our best friend’s kids, who feels like family
+ many days required an afternoon coffee or hot chocolate to keep me going on the to-do list
+ pops of red throughout the store
+ it snowed on the Friday night of ChristKindli Market, which was also my birthday, and it felt so magical here.

Grateful above all for the hope we have in Jesus. He is the reason for the season!

✨ a restock of our cotton + leather watch caps ✨

We have a small batch of watch caps back in the online shop! The last batch of these beauties flew out of our shop the first week of December, so we made a few more in time for Christmas.

Every season, we design and make a special batch of these hats. The cotton hats are made by then we sew on our leather patch here in our WI studio. The patch features our classic pine tree logo branded into the leather. We’ve enjoyed many adventures with our hats over the years 👏🏼

It is time! NEW GLARUS CHRISTKINDLI MARKET this weekend!

Our busiest weekend in the shop is here. We look forward to it all year. We’ve been working hard for weekssss to stock up on your favorite leathers goods - bags, belts, wallets, and drink accessories. Everyone’s favorite leather ornaments and stocking tags are back this year with custom stamping available on the spot.

We’re also stocked with your favorites - local art by .co, soap from , and coffee from to round out your Christmas shopping.

Plus! The streets are lined with little chalets and string lights with small businesses tucked inside each one. Special Wassail beer from and Christmas carolers. Grab fudge from our friends and visit other cute shops in town like

✨ Christmas order deadline ✨

It’s officially that time of year! (can you believe it?)

If you want a handcrafted leather bag, belt, or wallet to give on Christmas morning, get your order in this weekend!

Also your yearly reminder:

+ all the leather goods in our shop are made by us! Tim and I do all the designing, pattern making, cutting, sewing, finishing, shipping, fixing machines, etc etc etc 😂 right here in our small sewing studio in New Glarus, WI

+ all products in our online shop are made-to-order in 4-6 weeks! Hence the cut-off date. Operating this way helps with cash flow and inventory management for the storefront. This time of year gets WILD, so every minute counts leading up to Christmas. Thanks for getting orders in early - it’s a huge help to us.

+ speaking of our storefront, the in-store inventory is separate from our online shop and our stock of bags, belts, and wallets is always changing depending on what sells! I know this can be confusing, but again, it’s a huge help to us in managing inventory. We keep as much in stock as we can without losing our minds 😂

+ this time of year is often a “make it or break it” moment for a lot of small businesses. Mom and pop shop owners are working a lot of hours to make the magic happen. So be kind to each other and consider spending your Christmas gift budget at your favorite small businesses this year.
