The annual Gem, Mineral, & Jewelry show is in Harrisburg this weekend! Saturday 10-6pm and Sunday 10-4pm. We often get asked about some of the stones we have on display in our studio, so this is the chance to grab some for yourself!

Held at the Zembo Shrine building, you'll find lots of rough material stones and minerals, ready-to-set genuine gemstones, fossils, jewelers, and handmade jewelry. Each day has educational materials and speakers, along with snacks available downstairs. We will be closed on Saturday to attend both days as an event we look forward to each year.

We've reopened booking online for children 7 years and up! Please be sure that you have read the studio's cancellation policy as well as the birth certificate and photo ID requirements before you book with us.

Here at Modern Ethos, we do not tolerate rude, entitled, or pushy behavior towards our staff or over our studio policies. We have 18 yrs of combined experience and are not new to these unfortunate interactions. Everything you need to know about our studio is clearly listed on our website and booking system. We do not take walkins as this is disrespectful to the clients scheduled at that time and cuts into their time and the piercers procedures. Clients are always encouraged to reach out via email with problems, questions, or to prepare for an upcoming procedure where jewelry may be an issue. If you have an issue that you need assistance, we do get clients in quickly with a heads up and communication. Last-minute requests are not always feasible as staff can not always stay late after a full day without notice. Our staff are humans with lives outside of work like anyone else. We will not accept clients talking down to staff, making threats, or hanging up on our staff because you didn't like us upholding our standards/practices.
This behavior will result in a permanent ban from our studio.
